Income Tax

Do I need to declare the income from vacation rentals?

Yes. All rental income must be declared on your Income Tax return as "individual rental income."

In which cases am I required to declare it?

If you received more than R$ 33,888.00 in taxable income during the year, declaration is mandatory. Even below this amount, we recommend declaring to stay compliant.

How do I make this declaration?

You can use the "Carnê-Leão Web" system, available on the Brazilian Federal Revenue website. At the end of the year, the data should be transferred to your annual tax return.

Can I deduct any expenses?

Yes. Expenses such as property tax (IPTU), condominium fees, and necessary maintenance can be deducted from the total amount received.

Where do I find the correct amounts to declare?

CURTA! sends an annual Income Report to help you with your declaration.

We conduct a detailed inspection after every check-out. If damage is found, we charge the guest whenever possible to cover the repair costs.

What if it’s regular maintenance?

We always request your authorization before performing any repairs, except in emergency situations.

Payment Transfers
